Why isn't an upgrade for my car currently listed?

For a new model year vehicle or a chassis change, we may be waiting on a system to be released from Brembo. To find the status of systems for newly released models please complete and submit your information using our Product Inquiry Contact Form.

For older model vehicles, there is generally a 6 kit minimum to design and engineer a new Brembo brake system. If you feel there is a market for a particular vehicle or have multiple people interested in the same application please complete and submit your information using our Product Inquiry Contact Form.

How to Touch up paint, powder coating or repainting of the calipers?

TOUCH UP PAINT

Race Technologies does offer touch up paint for the standard Brembo colors used in the GT program (red, black, silver and yellow). It is important to note that the colors used in Brembo's High Performance Program are different than the colors used for OEM Brembo calipers.

POWDER COATING

Race Technologies does not recommend powder coating calipers. This process is more invasive than painting, and often results in damage to the caliper that cannot be repaired.

REPAINTING

Race Technologies does not offer the service of repainting used calipers. Brembo does not recommend repainting calipers due to the potential issues that can be created when done incorrectly.

Questions about OEM Brembo components (stock/factory setups)?

Brembo develops and manufactures braking system components for customers worldwide.

The original equipment brake systems are proprietary through the vehicle manufacturer, and are considered an OE component. For this reason, most replacements parts and any technical support will need to be addressed exclusively through the vehicle manufacturer.

Race Technologies supports the Brembo aftermarket High Performance and Racing programs for Brembo North America. We do not have the information or resources to support technical questions regarding original equipment braking components.

Do Brembo calipers ever need to be rebuilt?

Brembo High Performance calipers normally do not need to be rebuilt or overhauled.

Can I buy brackets separately to mount calipers to my car?

The brackets used in the Brembo GT Systems are specific to the Brembo High Performance calipers, vehicle, and kit specifications. They are NOT interchangeable with Original Equipment Brembo calipers.

The brackets are not generally considered a standard consumable item in the Brembo GT System, so it is rare that they are purchased as replacements.

We understand that certain circumstances may create a need for replacements, and we can support the sale of brackets on existing applications.
